Here at the Green Man we try our best to stick to tradition. Some could say that we are stuck in a time warp but often the old ways are normally the best, when it comes to running a pub anyway! That’s why we still close in the afternoon between our lunchtime and evening sessions.
Key to the way we prepare and serve our food is using local suppliers to provide proper hearty pub grub, in ample sized portions all cooked on the premises. Our menu will cater for everyone – whether you are a meat lover, vegetarian, vegan or gluten free – we will always do our best to accommodate you.
The blackboard situated in the main bar area is the window to a taste bud sensation. With everything from tasty sandwiches and snacks, to our incredibly popular steak pies, it can all be found hand written in chalk.
Booking is recommended on Sundays to avoid disappointment - however we try to be flexible and alternatives may be offered to any impromptu hungry diners!
Our menu selection is very popular with Rotary Clubs, office games evening, sports associations, family celebrations and parties - our garden and barn area is perfectly suited for getting people together.
